What is the capacity of air conditioner do i need?

For a quick selection of capacity, we can use the rules of the tump (area(ft²) X 65 = BTU/hr require) e.g. Room size 10ft X 10ft = 10 X 10 = 100ft² X 65 = 6,500Btu/hr.

Which is the best air conditioner equipment ?

There is no quick answer to this question, every equipment has a few models of equipment that they are particular good in. It will have to depend on what type and size of equipment you have selected for your application before we can make any recommendation.

Why is the air condition leaking water ?

Water from the air condition are discharged out to the drain thru a drainage pipe that is run from the fan coil unit to the drain. Water will starts to leak from the fan coil if the drainage pipe is clog with dirts.

Why does the air conditioner leak water very frequently ?

This can happen when the drainage pipe that is run between the fan coil unit to the drain does not have a proper gradient. (poor installation)

How long will the installation take?

For normal HDB household installation will takes 1 full day for installation. Other installation would have to depend on the piping length. Generally 1 fan coil per days would be a safe timing.

How often should I service my air conditioner?

Household air-conditioner should be serviced every 2 month. Air-conditioner for offices and commercial usage should be serviced once every month.

Which brand or air conditioner causes less problems?

Although there are many brand of air condition in the market right now but they almost have the same function. Therefore no particular brand can we say that it will cause the less problem but we can say that installation of the air condition plays an important role for less problems. With good installation, the air condition will causes less problems like gas and water leaking. 

Why is the room not cold?

The room is not cold may be cause by not enough of btu to cover the whole area of the room

Why is the air room is not cold frequently?

One of the main cause is that the fan motor is clog with dust. Cool air is being block, therefore cannot be blown out.

Why must your company dismantle the fan coil unit for chemical service instead of inserting a water tray to wash away the chemical? 

By dismantle the fan coil unit, we can clean the air condition part by part and to wash the chemical thoroughly. If we do not dismantle  the fan coil unit, we may not be able to to wash away the chemical thoroughly inside the fan coil which may lead to corrosion to the fan coil.

Can we do the general service by ourselves?

Cleaning of fan coil and the cover of the air condition can be done easily but to take out the water tray will be quite tough for some people. To vacuum the drainage system and to check the refrigeration level  cannot be done without the equipment. Also the knowledge of checking the working system is important to maintain the air-condition in good condition.
